Billing

Billing and cancellation

Pantry & Plate subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Pantry & Plate does not directly receive your full payment-card number from Apple or Google.

Subscription cancellation

Deleting your Pantry & Plate account may not automatically cancel an active app-store subscription. Manage subscription cancellation through Apple or Google.

Account and data deletion

Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your Pantry & Plate account or deletion of specific Pantry & Plate data from this page.

Delete your account in the app

If you can access the app, request account deletion from Pantry & Plate settings.

  1. Open Pantry & Plate.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open Account.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Follow the confirmation prompts.

Delete your account by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@pantryandplate.app from the email address associated with your Pantry & Plate account with the subject line Delete Account Request.

Please include enough information for us to identify the account. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or highly sensitive personal information.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You may request deletion of specific Pantry & Plate data without deleting your whole account. This can include uploaded photos, receipts, recipes, pantry items, grocery lists, meal plans, support messages, connected-shopping authorization data, or report submissions.

Email support@pantryandplate.app with the subject line Data Deletion Request and describe what you want deleted.

What may be retained

Some limited information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, fraud or abuse prevention, dispute resolution, app-store transaction records, security, backup, or disaster recovery.

Pantry & Plate may retain a minimal anonymized deletion audit record for up to 30 days.

What is deleted or anonymized

When your account deletion request is completed, Pantry & Plate deletes or anonymizes account data associated with your account, where applicable.

  • account profile information
  • email-linked account data
  • household membership
  • pantry items
  • grocery and shopping lists
  • meal plans
  • saved or imported recipes
  • recipe collections or folders
  • uploaded recipe, profile, receipt, or feedback images associated with the account
  • support, feedback, parser report, or recipe report data linked to the account where applicable
  • notification tokens
  • connected-shopping authorization data where applicable
