Delete account
Delete Your Pantry & Plate Account
If you would like to delete your Pantry & Plate account and associated data, follow the steps below.
Option 1: Delete in the App
- Open Pantry & Plate.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Account, then tap Delete account.
- Confirm your deletion request.
Option 2: Request by Email
If you cannot access the app, email support@pantryandplate.app and include:
- the email address associated with your account
- the subject line: Delete Account Request
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, Pantry & Plate will delete or anonymize, as applicable:
- your account profile information
- saved and created recipes associated with your account
- uploaded recipe images associated with your account
- other personal account data associated with your Pantry & Plate account
Data Retention
Certain limited records may be retained for a reasonable period where necessary for:
- legal compliance
- fraud or abuse prevention
- backup and disaster recovery systems
Where applicable, this may include a minimal anonymized deletion audit record retained for up to 30 days. Some limited records may also remain in secure backups until those systems cycle out, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
